base is poorly cut

the cuts on the side of base look like cutting blade very dull (cot the first one I've gotten), the inside groove was also bad, not used to getting stuff with this quality.
ghost has a few bad parts on bottom, bud could be hidden with base

Lee Ann, I am so sorry your not happy with the slotted base.We try to keep a very high standard of quality with all of our items. I am sure you know that Plywood even though is specked a certain thickness it can vary up to 1mm in thickness so we leave the furry fibers in the trench so that it will hold tightly to the item in the slot and if someone needs less they can sand it out. I will be happy to send over another slotted Stand for you if you would like. Just let me know.
